There are many ways to tie a hook line:
Preparation: Prepare a fishing line and a hook.
Fix the hook hole position: Pass the end of the line through the bottom of the hook and fold back up so that the end is parallel to the main line. The part that turns back is long enough to be strong.
Wrap into a loop: Wrap the retraced line around the main line and hook body for 3-5 turns, the specific number of turns can be adjusted according to the thickness of the line and the size of the hook. Keep the rope loop tight when winding to avoid gaps.
Through the loop: Thread the reentry thread through the bottom of the loop, which is the side closest to the hook hole. This step can be done by passing the line through above.
Wet and taut: Wet the knot with saliva or wet fingers before straining, then slowly tighten the retraced thread. The knot is tight and strong.
Trim excess lines: Use scissors to trim off excess lines, leaving a small end of the line off the knot.
Post-inspection: Check your knots for sturdy and reliable. Pull the hook and thread to make sure it's tight.
